Ingredients for Galinhada:
- 1 strand of oil
- 1 head of crushed garlic
- 1 small skinless free-range chicken, in pieces, with foot and neck
- 500 grams of rice
- 1 chopped small yellow pepper
- 1 chopped small red pepper
- 1 chopped skinless tomato
- 1 small chopped onion
- Half a can of green corn
- 1 chicken broth tablet
- 1 dessert spoon of saffron

Step by Step Instructions
- In a pan over medium heat with oil, brown the garlic, then add the chicken and let it cook, stirring constantly until golden.
- Keep dripping water so that it cooks slowly.
- When well cooked and without water, add rice and saffron and mix well.
- Add the peppers, tomatoes, chopped onion, and green corn.
- Add water with the chicken stock and cook until the water dries and the rice is cooked.
